Commitment defined as the state or quality dedicated to a causeor activity. It is further defined as an agreement, a promise or a pledge to someone or something. When making a commitment to someone or something, the basic rule of thumb is to stand by and dedicate yourself to it.
Setbacks are bound to happen in life. How you deal with them all depends on you. Whether it is setbacks that come from you or from external forces. Especially when you are trying to reach for your dreams. The one common factor you need while you try to reach for your reality is your close friends and family; and these are also the same people you might not want to turn to on your way there. Everyone has a difference of opinion and just like that everyone has a different definition of “reality” in his or her mind. Reality is different from one person to another because it is based totally on that person’s truth. Stay with me here so I can explain this to you. Now your truth could be, for example, let’s just say is being an astronaut while majority of the people’s truth is what their circumstances are currently. So see what I am saying is that everyone’s truth turns into his or her reality. You chose for it to be your dreams rather than your current situation. We have all been there. We have looked back in the past and said, “wow, what was I thinking? Biggest mistake of my life.” Can you really tell me that you haven’t done that? All I have to say to that is, it was a biggest lesson learned in life. Most of us are looking in the rearview mirror while trying to drive ahead. See I could look back and say that I made the biggest mistake by having a kid with such a deceiving person but that doesn’t change anything nor do I feel that way. You have to be able to forgive not just yourself but also the other person. Free yourself from the hatred you carry around in your heart because that burden is only drowning you. Not being able to forgive puts you in a victim mentality and you sit there drinking poison while wishing the other person would die. Guess what? The other person is living with no concern about you. SIMPLE is the name of the game so you confuse me when you say it’s COMPLICATED. Stop it and tell your mind to shut up and get it right. Always remember there’s someone else in a worse situation than you are so be grateful for what you have and stop complaining about what you don’t have. Instead of complaining, work towards things you desire. If you’re not waking up everyday with a goal in mind than you’re still sleeping. It is so easy to blame external factors for the things you don’t have but let’s really dig deep within and find out what’s holding you back from getting what you want. Stop wishing and start doing. There’s nothing wrong with being a dreamer but that in itself is only the first step. You have your first step nailed down, VISUALIZING what you desire. The second step is to do something about it. Get up and get into ACTION. If one plan doesn’t work than try another and keep trying until you get to your destination. Lastly be able to make a COMMITMENT to your dreams, goals, desires; whatever it is that you call it. Write your goals down every morning and every night.
